The Alpha Commandments
This is a post idea I’ve been kicking around for a while now, and I have finally decided to put it together. These are the Alpha Commandments – the basic rules and principles that govern an alpha behavior. These things should give you a framework to build on and a good understanding of how the different pieces of advice on this site work together. As time goes on, I’ll be adding more and expounding on these.
1. Speak your mind boldly.
You shouldn’t be afraid of consequence when speaking. In any western country you have the freedom of speech. Don’t be afraid to dissent in family, at work, in play – you be yourself and speak how you think and feel honestly and boldy.
2. Never take any one or any thing too seriously.
The world is a fun place to live, and you drew a hell of a lucky straw by being born a man in a western country and not as some sort of waterfowl in western Africa. Enjoy what you have and don’t let anyone or anything tear you down or break your frame – happiness is always your choice.
3. Play the game by your own rules.
If it is rigged to be against you, stop playing. Do things your way. Don’t feed into a female’s frame, don’t feed into a feminist, emasculated view of the world – play by your own rules.
4. Take Charge, not the back seat
You need to take command of social situations, relationships, family affairs, and work relations. Don’t let other people dictate your life to you – be the man in charge. Don’t ask soft questions, make statements and make mandatory requests. Your life will greatly improve when you step up and take it by the horns.
5. Subdue Your Emotions
Don’t let your emotions rule you. I once almost lost a job over being heartbroken that a girl left me (lol). I moped around at work, I didn’t pull my weight, my sales goals were never met – my performance was just abysmal. There were days where I’d just leave, or not come in at all, because with my little broken heart, I just wasn’t up to it. Don’t be that kind of faggot. Rule your emotions – they are either tools to help you conquer life, or they are tools that life will use to conquer you.
