Often times my content is spread to message boards  where it is then picked apart and analyzed under the ever watchful eye of the white knight.  This has happened over the course of my blogging career more times than I’ve cared to count.  The same questions always seem to pop up, “Who is this guy to determine what alpha is?”  I’m going to attempt to answer that question today in two parts:

First of all: Fuck you, that’s who.

Secondly:  I didn’t.

I didn’t invent the hierarchy.  That is the result of a collective work of individuals who realize the truth – humans have natural, animal instincts we act on as well.  I didn’t even invent the scale I use (though I’ve modified it), Vox did.

So what right do I have to run this blog?

For me, game wasn’t learning a lot and changing myself a lot.  Sure, I’ve had to tweak and change things about myself, shift some of my world view around and make adjustments to my attitude and outlook when it comes to women – but as far as men and other areas of my life, I was 90% there.  For me, game was more adding words to feelings I already had.  It defined things for me in a way I was unable to on my own.  It inspired me and now I simply preach the alpha thing the loudest – because it’s changed my life the most.

[Note: I should clarify that when I say “game” I mean overall lifestyle, and not just seduction.  When it came to women I was pretty much starting from scratch (I rocked that Beg&Grovel Game before I found Roissy or Roosh)]

So What Is An Alpha?

Independent.

At the end of the day, the truth behind being an alpha is independence.  It’s not that you don’t care what other people do, it’s that you’re fine not having the result you desired because in the end you aren’t dependent on that person or result for your happiness or well being.  You understand that you are the best you can be, you enjoy what you have, and people get either get on your train and enjoy the ride, or they can fuck off – but the train ain’t stoppin’.

You can’t let your feelings and actions be dictated by people or other outside forces.  You have to be independent, acting on what you know to be right and true, and maintaining that frame for everyone else.  It’s about enjoying your life and the things in it, regardless of whether or not others want to enjoy it with you or even let you enjoy it.

People matter to me – I care, I love, I feel – I just don’t let that get in the way of me living my life.

Being an alpha is all about being your own man, and fuck the rest.  You do what you have to, chase your goals and dreams, and reach success in whatever you strive for and let everything else fall to the side to either be enjoyed or left off the train – then you’ll be alpha.

You do you, and make sure that the “you” you do is a total boss.  Be independent.  Be a champ.  Be an alpha male.
